ABOUT US
Established in 2009, ‘La Muse’ offers expert tuition in classical ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance styles as well as acrobatics, aerobics, music and singing and pre-school classes.
Owned and operated by Hana Skeggs and Gina Stevens, La Muse aims to provide students with high-quality teaching in a friendly environment, where dancers can achieve excellent results whilst developing their creativity and artistry.
Our studio is located in central Invercargill and has 3 purpose built studio rooms.
We offer examinations and competition tuition for our students, and the year culminates in an annual show held at Invercargill's Civic Theatre, showcasing student’s talent and giving valuable experience in a professional theatre.

We are very pleased to offer Movitae to all our students. Movitae is an online dance focused digital platform, which creates a community using a medium that students embrace, and inspires students with the broader world of dance.
​
Movitae is a visual tool for a visual art, and assists with at home practice and empowers students to take control of their learning to be the best that they can be. Teachers upload content from class, students can view it anytime.
